I belong to a group devoted to quilt history, The American Quilt Study Group (AQSG). They are creating an endowment fund to assure the continuation of their mission. One project, itty bitty quilts, especially appealed to me because it involved reduction in size, and I am working my way toward making miniature quilts. The challenge was to construct a traditional block 4 inches x 4 inches finished. My block is Dutchman's Puzzle.
The committee assembled the blocks into 22 quilts that will be auctioned on EBay from
Nov 30-Dec 13, 2009. There is a link to see all of them on the AQSG home page at least for the duration of the auction. My block was included in "Chocolate Covered Cherries," constructed and hand quilted by Xenia Cord. It is one of the eleven to be auctioned the second week.
